Norfolk’s influence upon its resident artists is unquestionable – little surprise that Alex Egan’s spontaneous paintings and studies are inspired by the nature she sees all around her Broadland home. The counties wild mammals and farm characters loom large in her lively impressions of deer, bulls, pheasants and, of course, hares.
Alex works in a variety of mediums, watercolour, graphite, pen and ink.
Alex Egan studied fine art and gained her degree at Bristol UWE. Since then her work has been exhibited extensively throughout the country.
Alex created some of the most popular Go-Go Gorillas that were part of the Break Charity event in Norwich during 2013. In 2015, her Go-Go Dragon ‘Duff’ realised over £20,000.00 when auctioned
for the same charity project.
