Gallery artist BRIDGET SYMS has created a unique collection of paintings ‘Icons of British Fauna’ – the artist presents us with a fresh approach to the depiction of many favorite wild creatures found and seen around the county of Norfolk and beyond. Taking an individual animal, like the Brown Hare, (featured above) Bridget has set each subject onto golden backdrop and in doing so evoking an icon. Meticulous tile and mosaic impressions surround the leaf to create a rich combination. A colourful addition to The Holt Festival 2016
