Fine Artist LUCY BOYDELL trained at St. Martin’s School of Art. Her upscale images of birds and beasts are so very distinctive, its easy to spot a Boydell!
Working with The Red Dot Gallery in recent years has seen a tremendous demand for Lucy’s limited editions which are often the best sellers in the gallery. During the autumn of 2020 the gallery launched a Boydell collection, ‘Fine Artist, Fine Art’ through the popular magazines Country Life and The Norfolk Magazine – the results were indeed gratifying as Lucy’s reputation continues to grow.
A NIMBLE HARE is the first original piece from Lucy’s studio in 2021 – the result of hours, indeed days, of observation in the field. Luckily for Lucy her home county of Norfolk is still a stronghold for The European Brown Hare (Lepus capensis) which the artist regularly photographs and sketches on some of the counties renowned estates such as Holkham and Gunton.
