In the artist’s own words..” My work is informed by ideas and reflections upon the nature of childhood, play, half-remembered folk tales – and how these things impact upon us as adults. Sometimes light-hearted, sometimes unsettling or melancholy, my aim is to capture character and a suggestion of private thoughts. I try to imbue my figures with a sense of stillness at their core; in an uncertain world, they, at least, have a sense of themselves and of their destiny.”

The gallery approached Nigel to see if he would consider incorporating two of North Norfolk’s most distinctive churches, St. Nicholas at Salthouse and St. Nicholas of Blakeney with the graceful Barn Owl. The haunting sight of this magnificent bird is still a regular site over the marshes and farmland of North Norfolk. The result of the request, a pair of limited edition prints exclusively available from The Red Dot Gallery. Each in an edition of just 50 signed & numbered by the artist. Framed price around £265.00.

Gallery artist Lizzie Riches painted the wonderful ‘Flora’ in 2016. Based upon the original painting is a silkscreen edition exclusive to the gallery. Working with the team at Harwood King Fine Art, ‘Flora’ took almost a year to print and employs around 40 different screens. In an edition of 100, each signed and numbered by the artist, the print is priced at £500.00 plus framing.
