Having trained as an artist over 30 years ago my work always evolves through traditional techniques with traditional media. Over the many years of constantly evolving as an artist and being always keen to explore new methods of image-making my attention was drawn to the computer as the latest in new tools. These paintings are created using traditional techniques combined with the new media of Digital Paint, entirely hand-painted using a Wacom Intuos tablet and pen with CORAL PAINTER natural media simulation software. There is no physical artwork and the prints are a strictly limited edition of 195. Giclee prints on high-quality paper. I have worked as a professional artist for 30 years, commissions often in the areas of children’s book illustration, and feature film animation. I have illustrated many books including NELLY THE MONSTER SITTER by Kes Grey and new covers for Enid Blyton’s THE SECRET SEVEN, as well as writing and illustrating FROOBIE PINK and the NIGHT NOISES. Animation feature film and TV credits include Roald Dahl’s THE BFG, DANGERMOUSE, BALTO and ARTHUR CHRISTMAS and PIRATES in an Adventure with Scientists….and we have saved the best until last… DESPICABLE ME
