A Tale that tells of the return of Anne Boleyn to Blickling in 1514 will be at the centre of an exhibition being staged during September and October. Within the intriguing story a young author tells of a ‘most magnificent procession of all kinds of birds and beasts to celebrate Michaelmas’ this is supposedly from the diary entries of a ten year old George Boleyn. The boy describes the pageant in detail and from this artist Kate Leiper has created a series of original paintings which show the procession of finches and swans, geese and ducks, deer and rabbits, the white bull and many more besides. 

An Exhibition with a Twist!

Within the paintings Kate has hidden letters you will be invited to find. Once gathered and rearranged the letters will reveal just who or what stole the jewelled pendant in 1514…….one step closer to winning the prize!
