Lucy spent several hours in the company of a magnificent male Great Bustard at Norfolk’s Watatunga Wildlife Reserve. His extraordinary courtship display had to ‘be seen to be believed’ commented Lucy. As a result of the encounter Lucy embarked on one of her trademark upscale chalk & charcoal drawings – now available as a Limited Edition, signed and numbered.
At the time of writing (July 13th 2022) we are approaching the opening of Lucy’s first solo exhibition for more than ten years……FREEDOM
As The Great Bustard holds a special place in Lucy’s journey of ‘Freedom’, 10% of all sales of this edition sold until the exhibition concludes on 7th August will be donated to The Great Bustard Group. (The Great Bustard Group is a UK Registered Charity working to reintroduce the species to the UK and to promote its interests throughout its range.)
