An original oil on canvas painting by Lizzie Riches – created in 2012 for an exhibition held in The Long Gallery in Blickling Hall, Norfolk. Blickling, owned by National Trust, is reputed to be the birthplace of Anne Boleyn the second wife of Henry VIII.
Lizzie took her inspiration from the history, flora and fauna of Blickling and its estate to create a unique exhibition that encompassed an intriguing treasure hunt. The Beekeeper was sold at the 2012 exhibition and now offered for sale by a private collector from our gallery, The Red Dot in Holt, North Norfolk.
